i pretty much hate brands now, and assume the rest of the developed world is not far behind ...

why?

the word has devolved, from marking a cow, to telling lies that the cow is really a kobe beef.

synonymous with lying, and that stain will not go away ...

in my opinion ...

enjoy, gregory lent

The Brand Manuel. I like it. I agree that viral marketing can be dangerous, but I think it's cost effectiveness offsets the danger. And in the end, isn't branding really a form of viral marketing? Sure, consumers can twist and alter the products intangible message, but in the end the product is still the same. Since a brand image is probably a little bit different to everyone anyways, who cares if some people see you differently. At least they know your name and have an association to go with it. And it didn't cost you a dime in advertisement.
